Ramayana ballet is an art performance that is so beautiful, admiring and it is difficult to compare. This performance is able to unite various Javanese arts such as dance, drama and music on one stage and one momentum to present the Ramayana story, a legendary epos written by Walmiki in Sanskrit language.

6. Alun-alun Selatan

One of hangout spots tourists must visit in the City of Gudeg, Yogyakarta, is the South Square, better known as Alun-alun Kidul (Alkid). The vast space in the back of the Royal Palace has become the town landmark. Its existence clings to the hearts of Yogyakarta people.

Even though the area is only a wide grassy yard with two big banyan trees in the center, Alkid has become a magnet for people. One of the attractions is the Masangin tradition, walking through the middle of the banyan trees. Beside that, it can lengthen their study time before they graduate. in a short sentence, they cannot arrange time well and the studying is risked by the night life in Yogyakarta.
